About Electrical Engineering Department

The department has its own specific laboratories for Electrical Engineering Lab, Power generation Transmission & distribution Lab. Power Electronics Lab, Power Simulation Lab, Control System Lab .High Voltage Lab, all well equipped with modern techniques & equipments facilitated with 30 computer system of latest configurations and associated with large machine workshop.

Faculties are committed to educate students as per industry demand through proper guidance and experts so as to prepare the students for industrial needs. Institute is committed with a mission to create competitive attitude in students by providing them all required fundamental concepts by enhancing analytical capability. Providing adequate knowledge to make students technically sound in the field of Electrical Engineering field with awareness towards responsibility, managerial skill and co-curricular activities.

To involve in research and design of systems, tools and its applications in the electrical engineering field and related engineering plant and industries.

LABORATORIES

The Department has well equipped modern infrastructure laboratories with all necessary instruments for performing quality practical experiments by students. It has qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and technical staff members to impart proper practical training to students. The curriculum, prepared by SCTEVT, Odisha is framed in collaboration with industrial experts, keeping the demands of the industries and technological developments in mind hence we provide practical training as per the syllabus of Council.

Electrical Engineering department embodies very sincere efforts towards the building up of excellent career for diploma holders in the field of Electrical engineering Is a basic and conventional course of Engineering which is being offered since 1994 in this Institute.
